This volume provides a catalogue and index to the Records of the Church of Scotland held at the Scottish Record Office (now National Archives of Scotland) to the end of June 1967, as well as the records of the United Free Church from 1929 when it reunited with the Church of Scotland.

Please note, the volume does not include any primary sources of the Church of Scotland, but is intended as a handbook valuable to researchers who need to navigate the sources held by the Scottish Record Office.
